Decatur Fine Arts Academy Concert Series

Join DFAA for the second recital in their inaugural concert series! Co-Director, pianist, and composer Robert Cushing will perform with saxophonist Scott Brown, soprano Casey Margerum, and violinist Julie Saxton. The program includes Robert's original song cycle, Afternoon on a Hill.

This event will be held at First Baptist Church of Decatur (308 Clairemont Rd., Decatur, GA 30033). Tickets are pay what you can and are available for purchase ahead of time or at the door.

Green Eggs & Ham

Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 3:00 pm

Casey joined the Winston-Salem Symphony at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) for the first concert of their Ignite Family Series! Casey performed both the Soprano and Boy Soprano roles in a concert opera version of Robert Kapilow's Green Eggs & Ham, conducted by Ian Passmore.

Falstaff

July 29 & August 2, 2022

In the summer of 2022, Casey made her role debut of Alice in Verdi's Falstaff with FIO Italia in Urbania, Italy.

Master's Recital

February 25, 2022

Alongside collaborative pianist Dr. Peter Marshall, Casey performed works by Strozzi, Rossini, Berg, Delibes, Turina, and Undine Smith Moore for her Master's Recital in Kopleff Recital Hall at Georgia State University.

Le mariage aux Lanternes

November 5 & 7, 2021

For Georgia State University's Fall 2021 Opera Workshop, Casey performed the role of Catherine in Jacques Offenbach's Le mariage aux lanternes in Kopleff Recital Hall.
